Kristin Healey - Assistant Choreographer

Kristin was the Assistant Choreographer for Aladdin, Jr with BEST. She learned dance at Suzanne's Dance Connection in Burlington. Kristin will be a junior at BHS in the Fall, where she dances with the Dance Squad.

Sabrina Pedersen - Senior Counselor

Sabrina has been part of the BHS stage crew since her sophomore year. She has helped with productions of BEST's Little Shop of Horrors, BHS' It's A Wonderful Life, Beauty and the Beast, Noises Off, and Kiss Me Kate. Sabrina was a Senior Counselor for Willy Wonka Jr. and a Junior Counselor for Alice in Wonderland Jr. with BEST. She plays soccer and runs for the BHS long-distance track team. She will be attending University of Massachusetts-Lowell in the fall.

Emily Murgo - Senior Counselor

Emily most recently performed as a member of the ensemble in Kiss Me Kate at Burlington High School. Prior to that, she played Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical Jr. at the Winnmere Family Theatre. She has performed in Beauty and the Beast, Titanic, The Crucible and The Wizard of Oz at Burlington High School. Last year she worked at the BEST program ever as a counselor for Willy Wonka Jr. and also helped with hair, make up, quick changes and mic swaps. This is her second year working at BEST.

Giovanna Fernandes - Senior Counselor

Having participated in the drama department at BHS since her sophomore year, Giovanna finally reached center stage in her senior year as Belinda Blair in the Fall play “Noises Off” then finished off her senior year as the wardrobe lady in the Spring Musical “Kiss Me Kate.” She also worked behind the scenes of Kiss Me Kate, assisting Mr. Middleton as Chorus Master. Boston University bound, Giovanna plans on being highly active in BU’s music and drama departments. Her passion for music has accompanied her throughout her childhood and she intends to help reinforce it in today’s children as well by working at BEST. Her previous experience with BEST includes being a senior counselor for Willy Wonka Jr.

Jacinda Pedersen - Senior Counselor/Props Coordinator

Jacinda most recently managed props in the BHS production of Kiss Me Kate. She has managed props and worked on crew for various shows, including Little Shop of Horrors, It's a Wonderful Life, Beauty and the Beast, Noises Off, and Alice in Wonderland Jr. Jacinda was also a Junior Counselor with BEST for Willy Wonka Jr.

Emily Martin - Lead Counselor

Emily most recently starred as Penny in the BHS production of Hairspray. Emily has performed with Winnmere Family Theatre, North Shore Music Theater, and New England Conservatory's Chamber Choir. She also writes and performs original music. Emily was a Senior Counselor/Vocal Coach for Aladdin Jr., Willy Wonka Jr., and Alice in Wonderland Jr. with BEST.
